Bjälebo watermill dates back to the end of the 1600s
Bjälebo watermill dates back to the end of the 1600s. Sawing of timber with the power from the waterwheel was conducted annually from 1920 to the mid-1950s. The watermill has been renovated and the house has a new roof, a new watertrench and a new waterwheel. The renovation was completed in 2007 and it became a solemn inauguration. The governor was on site to witness the sawing of timber to test the restored logsaw.
