The 19th century warehouse is beautifully located next to the guest harbour and on display is, among others, peasant boats, engines and an old longboat.
Sailing ships from the 1850-1950 period, the harbour activities and the archipelago culture with local shipbuilding are the cornerstones of the exhibition. It also displays a small coastal community's development from a 'lastageplats' (wharf) to a 'lydköping' (tributary borough) and later a 'friköping' (free borough).
On the Harbour Wharehouse's lower floor, peasant boats and inboard and outboard engines are on display. Outside the museum there is an old longboat on display.
