The Lätt Cottage where Britta Stina Lätt lived
In 1834 Karl-Magnus Lätt and Britta Stina Larsdotter get married. They move to Ljungby, which is the correct name for the Lätt cottage. They had many children, like their daughter Johanna Sofia. The mother and daughter were called wise women and they could "heal" many ailments. In 1984 the renovation of the Lätt cottage began under the direction of Tuna County Local History Association. Today, the cottage is in the state that it once was, when the wise old women reigned there, with contemporary furniture, household utensils and some of their facilities that are on display.
